The Wiki Rule: Jupiter Ascending Wiki. Most likely Caine or one of the Abrasax siblings. Joseph Gordon-Levitt was considered for a role but it's unknown which role exactly. After she dropped out, Rooney Mara was considered for Jupiter but ultimately Mila Kunis got cast. Originally Natalie Portman was cast as Jupiter Jones.Trailer Delay: The trailer promised a July 2014 release date, but a month before its intended release, it was bumped ahead to February 2015 due to the filmmakers believing that the special effects wouldn't be finished before then.It helps that Redmayne's performance was seen as the best part of the film and Kunis and Tatum managed to give surprisingly good performances. This film didn't do anything to hurt Eddie Redmayne's post-Oscar buzz nor were Channing Tatum or Mila Kunis all that damaged by its failure.
Star-Derailing Role: Surprisingly averted. She made a half-hearted attempt at answering the question before choosing to take the forfeit and eating a cow's tongue. Mila Kunis was asked a similar question, along with why she chose to do the film, on The Late Late Show segment "Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts" ("Truth or Dare" with stomach churning foods). He responded "Good question, I have the same one myself." A fan on a Reddit AMA asked Channing Tatum what the film was about.claiming it was done to give the Wachowskis more time to do the effects and the Wachowksis not using that extra time to do re-shoots, instead leaving it in stasis until Warner Bros.
Now for some of the best bits, the car chases. Just as things seem to run smoothly, one of them is a double-crosser. The job is to steal a case from a group and return the case to their as yet unknown employers. Five mysterious men of various backgrounds (ex-CIA, KGB etc) meet in Paris, France for a job headed by a Northern Irish woman. From then on most of it is pretty much action. The beginning is slow and tense dark, clear colours in the picture sets the mood perfectly. I wasn't wrong either, this film is brilliant. Then seeing in the credits it starred Jean Reno, Sean Bean and Jonothan Pryce too made me realise I was watching a winner here. I picked up this DVD in Asda's a few weeks ago and seeing it had Robert De Niro starring convinced me enough to buy it.
